ounded in 2006, Tabula Dada Productions is a Vancouver based media company, specializing in the development, production, and delivery of digital entertainment (including international co-productions).

Dedicated to producing media that will engage and excite the audience, with a focus on Canadian independent production, Tabula Dada differs from other boutique production companies in the market by creating a space for new ideas and alternative methods of production.

Tabula Dada has completed production on its first feature movie, alone- a psychological thriller based on the play of the same name, written by Adam Cowart and directed by Haydn Wazelle. The short film Leaf (a Norway / Canada co-production) written & directed by Kevan Funk, will probably see the world due to its touching story, precise direction and unique performances. Dads, the company’s latest project, with Vancouver documentary producers The Sound Films, and produced in a association with the CBC, is a documentary exploring contemporary fatherhood, and will have its world premiere on Father’s Day 2013.

Also due to premiere in 2013 and featured at the Cannes Short Film Corner this year is the Marie Clements Bravo!FACT short film, Pilgrims, starring Lorne and Tantoo Cardinal, and This Bleeding Heart from writer/director Keven Funk and cinematographer Benjamin Loeb. Also premiering in 2013 is Stain, directed by Karen Chapman, and In the Deep directed by Nimisha Mikerji.

In March of 2013 Tabula Dada launched the demo of its first ever videogame at PAX East, the CMF funded videogame Eon Altar- produced with the gang at Flying Helmet Games, which should generate significant market turbulence for the industry.
